Working principles:
The product is supplied to the line
in large boxes using the box tipper. The bunker conveyor acts as
dosing device to the line. From the hopper on, it completely
depends on the customer what comes next. When the customer desires
to wash its product, the first machine will be a washer. In the
washer the product is washed in a gentle way. The discharge of
earth and waste from the washing machine depends on the type of
washing machine. In every line, the product is transported to a
quality inspection table, where the waste and rejects are graded
out by hand. Finally the product is graded on the radial grader
with full adjustable grading sizes (the standard grading machine
grades in three sizes). From the grading machine, the product is
transported to the side(s) on conveyor belts. When the customer is
processing carrots, the line is extended with a length
grader. When onions are processed, an onion topper can be used instead of the
washing machine.
