AIPL 450 Series line set-up 1Type Box tipper, Hopper, Washer, Length grader, Polisher, Roller inspection table, Radial grader (4 belt), Bagger and Weigher
This washing and grading line is designed as follows:
Products like carrots and red beet can be washed and graded. As an alternative, the set-up of the line can be easily changed. Without the washing machine it can be used as a grading line for unwashed products, with the washing machine it can be used for grading possibilities such as onions and potatoes. The grading machine is of a universal design and is suitable for both round and long-shaped products. In a second stage this line can be completed with special cleaning equipment for onions, to make it perform as a complete onion cleaning and grading line. Working principles: The product is supplied to the line in large boxes using the box tipper. The bunker conveyor acts as dosing device to the washer and ensures a regular supply. In the washer the product is washed in a gentle way. The discharge of earth and waste from the washing machine depends on the type of washing machine. The product is transported to a quality-grading belt, where the waste is graded out by hand. Finally the product is graded on the roller grader with full adjustable grading sizes (the standard grading machine grades in three sizes). From the grading machine, the product is transported to the side(s) on conveyor belts. The line can be extended with a length grader. For onions, an onion topper can be used instead of the washing machine, or an alternative combination line can be setup. Estimated capacity (tons/hour)
